Blog and email marketing are two totally different things. They are two complete different ways to market something, whether it is a product, or a service. You are going to find that just because someone may use email marketing to make an income, does not mean that they always use blog marketing as well.

Blog marketing is when you use a blog to promote a service or a product. You can market the product or service so that it appeals to others, and is something that they might want or need. By using a blog you can get the word out about the product that you are using and let others know all about it. There are several ways to do this. It can be done as simple or as complicated as you want. For example, you can market your blog by exchanging links with other blogs that are relevant to yours. As that will make a huge impact on your blog.

Get rid of nasty affiliate URLs
December 6th, 2007 under Ezine Marketing. [ Comments: none ]

If you have been doing internet marketing for any length of time, you will know how annoying it is to see horrible long affiliate URLs on your site and through your newsletters or marketing emails. These long and obvious URLs really turn people off and studies have been done that show that the click through rate on these URLs is much lower than on “normal” URLs.

SO as a savvy internet marketer.. what is the solution? Well you could do some complicated coding (and really, who has time for that!?) or you could use a service such as Shorten.WebSite to create a short URL. The added benefit to this is that long URLs often break when they are in emails.. this ensures that your readers will always get to where they expected to be after clicking on a link in your newsletter.

Whatsmore.. the service is free and the URLs will stay “short” with no expiration limit. If you are serious about internet marketing, this new short URL tool may just do the trick in sending your sales sky high!
