I recently came across a large community of website coders and programmers:  http://www.dreamincode.net/home/ With 30,462 members, you are sure to find somebody who is interested in the same types of programming as you! This community has been running for 6 years and is one of the largest of its kind on the web.
Programming help is available in the following languages and programming types:  C and C++, Visual Basic, Java, .NET Framework, PHP, ColdFusion,  ASP and ASP.NET, Perl and Python, Ruby,  Databases, Game Programming, Software Development.
The site itself is easy to navigate and easy to sign up. (And it’s FREE to join.) It’s well laid out and all of the different secions are easy to find. Many sites with this much on their home page look cluttered and difficult – not this one!  There are code snippets, blogs, message boards, a “coffee lounge” and several contests throughout the year.. so sign up and enjoy!
(ANd once you hit 500 posts.. they send you a free tshirt!)

Choosing Windows Web Hosting |

Windows/ XP Web hosting provides web hosting on Windows operating system platform. Microsoft Corporation provides host based software operating system for servers. Windows XP web hosting programs are considered to be easy to cope with, reliable and inexpensive.
The simplicity of the Windows XP operating system is what stands out with these applications. Windows provides its users with friendly, familiar environment that is easy to work with. Today as so much work has been done by developers it’s very easy to administrate your site with using Windows/ Server Side operating system. The Windows/NT platform is also reliable. You also should know that reliability of any platform, same as Windows/NT platform, depends mainly on maintenance and technical knowledge.
Windows/XP platform is scalable and very cost-effective because at a relatively low price you can set up a fully functional Internet server with Windows XP in a matter of hours.
The big question is what do you want your web-site to do? Interactive websites usually rely on ASP (Active Server Pages which allow scripts on a web page to be run on the server before the files are transmitted to the client), PHP, or Perl (Practical Extraction and Reporting Language which is a scripting language used for receive and process data stored on web page forms).
And if you prefer ASP most of all Windows/ XP – based web hosting is the perfect choice for you. There are also some more only Windows available applications such as Access, MS SQL, Windows Media and Virtual Basic scripts. Windows XP offers benefits over other operating systems. Using these benefits gives you an opportunity to be productive and publish your information on the Internet rapidly developing your website or web application.
Windows XP server packages have great programs for individuals who are familiar with MS Windows XP software. The server package for hosting even allows for optimization of hard disk space and RAM which eliminates computer lock-ups while loading web applications.

I came across a great site today, it lists and reviews over 1000 premium Internet Marketing Tools!
One of the hardest things about online marketing is finding the right tools at teh right price. It’s alot of leg-work to do the reasearch to come up with the best tools for the job, and sometimes you don’t even know that services exist, let alone to search for them!
Enter MarketingMule.com. They have done all of the hard work for you and brought together in one place the best internet marketing tools around.Â
The site itself looks blog based, which means that new tools and reviews are posted on the front page on a regular basis. A listing of categories down the side means that you can easily find what you are looking for.
Overall this site is a great resource for the internet marketer. It covers everything from email marketing to HTML tools.
Three tools that I’m looking at using include:
The one on the front page – a feedburner plugin for wordpress. It’s pesky to have to trawl through the code to find all the instances of RSS to replace with the feedburnder version – this takes care of it for you!
Glyphius software is designed to help you write more compelling ad copy. Â
Unlimited autoresponders from Get Response.

Finding Hot Selling Products to Sell |
| April 26th, 2007 under Affiliate Marketing. [ Comments: none ]

In order to locate products that sell online, we need to understand what people already want to buy. Finding a good choice of idea or product is always accompanied by interfacing the demand for the product in the current market and the level of competition or market share that the product will be having in the long run. Affiliate programs are available for many many different types of products, from perfume to eBooks to Boxing Equipment.
“What should I sell? What products are hot selling? These are the questions most people are trying to find an answer in order for them to make the definite decision. And if we really want to know the answer to this question, our only choice is to do some research. There are all kinds of twists along the road that may lead you to think you have a high-demand idea. We must be able to understand and satisfy the need, wants and expectations of our customers on a certain product that they’re trying to buy. This three are called the basic needs or minimum requirements in a purchase. Needs are the basic reasons or the minimum requirements consumers are looking for in a product or service. They are called the qualifying or “gatekeeper†dimensions in a purchase. Wants are the determining dimensions among many choices. Expectations, on the other hand, are values or intangibles associated with a product or service. Expectations are actually part of “wants†but they become extremely important when products or services are not differentiated.

Within this article today we will look at what copywriting as a job has to offer.  There are some famous copywriters that you can learn from, such as Michel Fortin – The Success Doctor, but for now we will focus on monetizing your writing skills.
There is a great deal of benefits if you have copywriting as a job. The salary for a copy writer is much higher than the average wage in the United States. According to the magazine Advertising Age, the average salary for a copywriter in the United States is right around $60,000 when you include bonuses and that was for the year 2005. You can imagine that the income will be higher now, given that there has been inflation in the last two years. The Bureau of Labor Statistics comes up with a similar but slightly lower number, right around $57,000 for a copywriter.

Do You Have What It Takes To Be An Affiliate Marketer? |

Each of us has its own interest or has a hobby. Some love all kinds of books, music, and movies while others are into sports and traveling. There are also people who love to grow flowers and loves pets. These things help us to relax and forget our everyday problems and troubles and these things are common to people. But not everyone has a hobby that makes money for him/her except if you love your job. Money making hobby could let you treat your family and friends with the extra cash or you can even quit your current job that you almost certainly hate. That is why many of us today go online to start a business or to get an education through online colleges such as art design school Collins College (get Collins College Info). Their reasons are either to supplement their income or to gradually replace their offline income from their job. Affiliate marketing is a great way to start in making money online while you are weaning your way off your day job or to support yourself while studying.
Affiliate marketing is a revenue sharing partnership between a web merchant and one or more affiliates. The affiliate is paid a commission for referring clicks, leads or most often sales to the merchant. An affiliate’s advantage is that he can make money in a business where he doesn’t have the upfront costs of creating his own product, and he doesn’t have to worry about e-commerce, bookkeeping, or even customer support for it is the merchant’s responsibility.

Why Hire A Designer? |
| April 25th, 2007 under Web Design. [ Comments: none ]

A lot of online business owners start with no money. They have to do everything themselves — the preparation of a product, the development of a marketing strategy, the actual building of a website to cater to their product’s marketing needs. As their business expands over time, they will find that their simple “homemade” site might not be enough to cover everything, and they will have to take a day or two away to simply dedicate that to the website expansion. Your site is really your “shopfront” and it needs to look slick and professional. It also needs to blend well with the type of business you own. Check out this vacation international points club website for an idea of how design can really enhance the product you are selling.
Sounds familiar? Chances are, you’re someone who started everything with no money too, so you’re pretty skeptical when it comes to giving away your money in exchange for something that you could have done yourself. However, there is a lot more to hiring a designer than just finishing up a job that you don’t want to do.

Marketing Introduction Part 2 |

In addition to paying for advertising, you may also be able to get free advertising by doing what is known as a link exchange. A link exchange is when one website owner, like you, agrees to display the online website link or banner for another website owner, free of charge, as long as they do the same for you. If you are looking for free or low-cost ways to market your small online business, a link exchange may be the perfect option for you. The only thing that you want to make sure you do is not exchange links with your competition. You want to try and make sure that all links can be connected or related to each other, in one way or another, but you don’t want to end up generating income for your competition.  So for example, William Yeh would not choose to exchange links with another discount internet broker, as that would be direct competition for him.

Get away from it all.. |

on a “green” ecotour holiday.
Ecotourism is nature and culture based tourism that is ecologically sustainable and supports the well being of local communities. Jeff Berzolla of Kauai vacation rentals states that, “We have traditionally specialized in providing our customers with alternative trips to Hawaii allowing them to stay in unique places and helping them coordinate the details of their dream vacation, be it romantic, active or relaxation focused. Also, our staff enjoys living and playing in Hawaii. Time off is often spent visiting the units we rent to our customers, whether they’re Maui vacation rentals or condos on Kauai, to better understand the Islands and the beautiful paradise we share with the world.â€
Clearly, capitalists and tree huggers are now teaming up as opposed to being at odds, finding it more progressive and profitable to protect the environment rather than exploit it. Environmentally responsible hotels known as “green hotels†use energy and natural resources in environmentally-friendly ways and give visitors a realistic Hawaiian experience without compromising the world around them.
So if you want a ecologically and communally responsible holiday.. get yourself to Kauai!
